November 14: This month, speaker Matthew Baumgartner will present Lew Wallace, Indiana Icon. Matthew holds degrees in History from the University of Georgia, as well as a Ph.D. in Medieval Studies from the University of Michigan. He is a lifelong researcher on the U.S. Civil War, with a focus on the Battle of Monocacy. Join us as we learn about Lew Wallace’s career as an Indiana lawyer, author and later an Ambassador to the Ottoman Empire.
