MPHPL is proud to announce a new initiative to help grow and motivate readers. Inspired by the success of 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, students are invited to join one of our new year-round “Books Before...” challenges:
200 Books Before Middle School
60 Books Before High School
50 Books Before Graduation
Help us celebrate! Join us to learn more, play games, create fun crafts, enjoy snacks and get registered.
Adult caregivers must directly supervise participants 5 years of age and younger; caregivers must remain in the library for participants 6-11 years of age.
No registration required.

Photo/Video Permission
We often take photographs and video at library events to use in our publications, on our website, social media and/or video sharing platforms.
For registered events, by selecting ‘Yes’ under Photo and Video Permission, the library assumes that permission has been given.
For non-registered events, you will have the option to opt out during the event.
