Program Description

Event Details

Dan Ravitch, Program and Camp Director of the Jewish Federation, will be joining us to discuss Purim. The holiday of Purim falls on the month of Adar in the Hebrew calendar, roughly February or March in the Gregorian calendar. This celebration is rich in history and tradition that dates back to the period of Jewish persecution under Persian rule, and historically is a time that requires a deeper look to understand the tales relevant today.

Registration required.

Cancellation Expectations

Due to demand and limitations in space and/or supplies for our programs, we ask that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance to give the chance for other patrons to attend. Failure to cancel your registration or inform a library staff member of your cancellation at least 24 hours in advance may result in a temporary registration block for upcoming programs.
