Program Description

Event Details

On Monday, April 8, a total solar eclipse will cross North America. Join us for a solar eclipse watch party at our Bittersweet Branch. We will have snacks, games and activities for everyone. Upon check-in, each registrant will receive one pair of solar eclipse glasses to watch the event. 

Please note: if inclement weather occurs, the event will be canceled.  

Adult caregivers must directly supervise participants 9 years of age and younger; caregivers must remain on the premises for participants 10-11 years of age.

Cancellation Expectations

Due to demand and limitations in space and/or supplies for our programs, we ask that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance to give the chance for other patrons to attend. Failure to cancel your registration or inform a library staff member of your cancellation at least 24 hours in advance may result in a temporary registration block for upcoming programs. 

Photo Permission

We often take pictures at library events to use in library publicity materials, on our website, and on social media. If you do not want us to use a picture of you (or your child, where applicable), please tell a librarian prior to the event. For registered events, by selecting 'Yes' under Photo Permission, the library assumes that permission has been given to use photographs as stated.
